I dropped my my office to print some materials for a fund raiser for the Arizona Democratic Party and found that the Yes on 102 sign in the front had been ripped out of the ground and stolen. I guess the person who took it feels that their right to free speech includes trespassing, theft, and trying to stifle my right to free speech. Is this the indicative expression of rights of the opponents to the proposition? It is difficult to take seriously the argument that those in favor of the proposition are hate mongers and those against it are not when opponents use tactics of trespassing, theft, name calling and abuse of religion to stifle free speech.
No, this isn't an isolated incident. Signs continually disappear throughout my neighborhood or get mangled.
