Info Post
I saw the recent TV commercial against Prop 102. It contained one fallacy after another in its presentation. Yes, the law is on the books in Arizona. That didn't keep the California courts from rejecting California's marriage law as unconstitutional. To protect the law, the state constitution apparently has to be amended. The commercial also mentioned that the voters rejected this ballot measure before. That is misleading, at best. The previous proposition tried to sneak in some unwarranted and deceitful blather about denying state funding. The voters saw that for what it was, the state's excuse to not pay for entitlements. Prop 102 has no such entitlement restrictions. Why do the opponents of Prop 102 feel it necessary to deceive the people in order to get their message across? I'm voting for the proposition. Protect marriage and families before we self destruct into social and moral chaos.
