Media Sponsored Religion Bashing In California

In my previous post, I said that intolerance is a double edged sword. The opponents to California's Proposition 8 apparently have fallen off the sword and sliced their heads off in a last-ditch effort to keep Prop 8 from passing. Here's their latest commercial:



If you can't see the intolerance offered by the opponents to Prop 8 in this commercial, then I suggest you sit down, relax, then beat yourself over the head with a baseball bat until you lose consciousness. When you come to, you'll have to make a choice. Do you follow the mainstream liberal ideas of equality and tolerance for all, except for those with whom you don't agree, don't like, are religious, or don't think gay rights are acceptable? Or do you come to understand that the makers of this commercial are just a bunch of hate mongers who'll do anything to push their idea of fairness, including demonizing an entire religion and its beliefs?

It's too late to vote on the issue, but it's not too late to see the opponents to Prop 8 and Prop 102 for what they really are. Make your choice. Just be sure your "tolerance" doesn't get in the way of actually being tolerant.
