Mike Adams, a criminology professor at the University of North Carolina, Wilmington didn't like the decision at UNC-Chapel Hill to not put up a Christmas tree in the library this year. Assistant Provost Sarah Michalak, after hearing "dozens" of complaints against the idea, and after consulting with Duke University of all places, decided it was in the University's best interest to put Christmas on the sacrificial altar of good feelings and a few complainers. Adams' article about the decision isn't as kind as mine, but good for some insight into the anti-religious sentiments overtaking our country.
Adams was an avowed atheist, up until about 10 years ago, when he converted to Christianity and suddenly found himself at complete odds with most of the faculty in his department. He has become an outspoken critic of the duplicity and senselessness of much of the leftist thought found at the university.
